Position Summary
The HR Coordinator supports the planning and administration of the company’s onboarding program, ensuring a positive and effective experience. This position is responsible to facilitate HR processes across the company, ensures compliance with internal policies and employment laws, and provides support to staff as needed.
Essential Duties and
Develops, manages, and continuously improves the onboarding program to support strategic goals and ensure a positive new hire experience.Coordinates and facilitates all onboarding activities, including pre-employment requirements, orientation, and integration support.Communicates key employment information such as benefits, compensation, policies, and expectations during the hiring and onboarding process.Conducts regular check-ins with new hires and managers to monitor progress, address concerns, and enhance the onboarding experience.Maintains accurate and timely completion of onboarding documents and enrollment forms.Ensures compliance with labor laws, company policies, and Affirmative Action Plan requirements throughout onboarding and HR practices.Provides guidance on HR policies, practices, and compliance to employees and leadership.Supports in the preparation of HR reports, data summaries, and presentations for leadership and compliance purposes, as needed.Maintains and processes personnel records while safeguarding the confidentiality of employee information.Supports employee engagement initiatives and assists in planning company-wide events and activities.Manages uniform inventory, business card orders, and other administrative onboarding materials.Provides operational and clerical support to the HR team as needed.Demonstrates and upholds the organization’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values in all responsibilities.Performs other related duties as assigned.Education / Training and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management or equivalent experience preferred.Communication Skills
Must possess a high level of verbal and written communication skills.Other Skills
Must possess exceptional communication and customer service skills.Must maintain confidentiality and integrity of all sensitive data.Must be able to demonstrate proficiency will all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).Must have excellent judgment in all matters related to this position.Ability to be organized, multi-tasked, and be very flexible with changing priorities.Days / Hours of
Position hours are Monday through Friday during regular business hours. Occasional work outside of normal business hours may be required.
Travels to company locations as required to support HR-related functions and onboarding efforts.
