Tax Accountant

A company is looking for a Tax Accountant to support income tax preparation, research, and planning. Key Responsibilities Prepare and file federal, state, and local income tax returns and ensure timely payments Research technical tax and regulatory issues and reconcile tax general ledger accounts Collaborate with the team on special projects and respond to tax-related inquiries Required Qualifications Associate Degree in Accounting; Bachelor's Degree preferred 2 years of professional experience as a staff accountant Knowledge and / or experience with property tax is a plus Experience with Vertex, Avalara, or PTMS is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Word and advanced skills in Excel; Power user preferred
