What You'll Do :

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.

Monitor for suspicious activity or individuals and report all incidents promptly according to site guidelines.

Maintain a visible armed presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and / or other unauthorized actions within the retail environment.

Interact professionally with clients, visitors, and employees, providing guidance and assistance as needed.

Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and timely as directed by Allied Universal and client protocols.

Minimum Requirements :

Customer service experience is preferred.

An armed guard card or license is preferred.

A guard card or license is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
