Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $2,232 per week in Lexington, KY

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Progressive Care Unit Duration : 14 weeks Shift : Night Hours per Shift : 12 Experience : Minimum of 2 years in a progressive care unit. Must have experience in an adult trauma / surgical unit in a Level 1 facility. Trauma experience is required. License : Compact or state license required at time of submission. Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required. Must-Have : Must have trauma experience in an adult trauma / surgical unit at a Level 1 trauma center. Progressive care experience is required. Experience with orthopedic injuries, spinal injuries, and traumatic brain injuries. Description : Attention to detail is essential for this role. Candidates must have a strong background in trauma nursing. Experience with wound care and management of complex cases is necessary. The position involves care for a diverse patient population with a variety of diagnoses. Interdisciplinary support is part of the workflow in this environment. Candidates will be required to float within the hospital or nearby affiliate hospitals as necessary. A reference from a charge nurse or supervisor is mandatory.
