University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center (UM BWMC) is actively seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist to join the largest pediatric hospitalist group within the University of Maryland Medical System—a dynamic team of 19 providers delivering outstanding care to our community.

Job Description

Robust team model with 2 pediatricians on-site 24 / 7 – no solo coverage

12-hour shifts (7a–7p / 7p–7a) with no call responsibilities

Full-spectrum care

Academic engagement opportunities : Teach and mentor rotating third-year pediatric residents, family medicine residents, and medical students

Epic EMR system for seamless documentation and coordination

Qualifications

Possesses and maintains current license to practice medicine in the State of Maryland required.

Possesses and maintains current Board Certification within Pediatrics or Pediatric Hospital Medicine

Possesses and maintains current DEA or similar Narcotics and Controlled Substances Certification required.

Possesses and maintains, if applicable, appropriate clinical privileges at a minimum of one UMMS affiliated acute care facility.

Demonstrates meeting minimum CME requirements for licensure and board certification.

Demonstrates appropriate qualifications and experience to perform the duties required of this position.

Compensation :

Pay Range :  Pediatric Hospitalist Starting base at $95 / hour, increases based on years of experience

Additional compensation options available for discussion include a $20,000 sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and a productivity bonus.
