Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN compact license (Arizona nursing jobs eligible)

BLS certification required

Minimum 1 year recent Med / Surg Tele experience

Ability to float to other units within skillset

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Med / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate nursing care to adult patients in a 31-bed Med / Surg Tele unit

Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using Cerner EMR

Administer medications and treatments as ordered

Operate clinical equipment : IV pumps, wound vacs, SCD machines, CPM machines, feeding pumps, oxygen, remote tele packs, PCA pumps

Care for patients with diagnoses including cholecystitis, appendicitis, diverticulitis, pneumonia, cellulitis, bowel obstruction, wounds, joint replacements, bariatric / colorectal surgery, and spine surgery

Maintain a safe, supportive environment and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Float to other nursing units as needed
