We are hiring a Contract Help Desk Support Specialist in Charlotte, North Carolina , to be the first point of contact for IT issues and requests. This role will support employees remotely and onsite, ensuring high-quality service delivery and user satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Respond to and resolve user inquiries via phone, chat, or email.
- Log and manage incidents in the help desk system.
- Provide basic troubleshooting for hardware, software, VPN, and connectivity issues.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding users, including system access and equipment setup.
- Maintain knowledge base documentation for recurring issues.
- Escalate unresolved problems to higher-tier support when necessary.
Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in a help desk or customer support role.Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and common business software.Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.A customer-first mindset with attention to detail.No C2C.
