Description : JOB SUMMARY

Provide great customer service through the process of accurately assembling and safely loading wholesale customer orders. Maintain accurate inventory by unloading, organizing and rotating freight. This position is required to work outside in inclement weather while frequently operating forklift and other types of equipment. Assumes additional responsibilities as determined by the Warehouse Operations Manager or Supervisor.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Must be 18 years of age.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIIES

  • Must be organized and able to prioritize work. Good aptitude in working with numbers is helpful.
  • Good customer service skills are essential.
  • Basic knowledge of warehouse practices.
  • Forklift experience is required.

    • Requirements :

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assists in loading orders for customers on personal vehicles.
  • Loads and unloads freight.
  • Organizes and rotates stock. Assists with inventory.
  • Operates a forklift and other warehouse equipment. In-house forklift certification will be required.
  • Segregates and breaks down pallets as needed.
  • Housekeeping duties of wholesale warehouse (sweeping, cleaning, assisting warehouse personnel as needed.
  • Maintains a clean and safe working environment.
  • Keeps work area organized.
  • Other duties as assigned.

    • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to safely and frequently lift and / or move up to 50-70 pounds.
  • Job requires heavy physical activity including walking, bending, stooping, and squatting.
  • Must be able to climb stairs.
  • Must be able to safely use hands and arms in reaching and moving materials and products.
  • Must be able to drive a forklift for extended periods of time throughout the day.
  • Must be able to work in all types of weather and environments.

    • WORKING RELATIONSHIP

    Works closely with warehouse personnel and wholesale office staff. This position requires frequent customer contact. The successful candidate will consistently display a positive, professional and safe attitude.
