Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.
Located in Fontana, CA, this opportunity offers a chance to make a significant impact in a K-12 school setting as a Speech-Language Pathologist. With two full-time positions available, the role involves working closely with elementary school students to address and support their speech and language needs.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations to assess student speech and language abilities.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on assessment results.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students.
- Manage a caseload of approximately 55 students, providing guidance and resources as needed.
- Engage in direct therapy when necessary, although the majority of therapy services are handled by Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).
Qualifications :
Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist License.Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse populations.Ability to develop and manage IEPs and related documentation.Familiarity with various speech and language disorders and therapy techniques.Location :
