Job description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with a BSN and at least one year of acute care experience for a Home Health position requiring a VA or compact license and Epic proficiency.

Job Details

Home Health setting providing inpatient-level care in patients' homes,
Care is delivered according to an individualized plan for each patient,
Shifts include rotating 12-hour schedules : 7 : 00am-7 : 00pm and 11 : 00am-11 : 00pm,
Expected to float within clinical scope as needed,
Uses Epic EMR system and experience is required,

Job Requirements

Current VA or compact RN license in hand at time of application,

Minimum of one year RN experience in acute care, critical care, or med-surg,

BSN required; diploma or associate degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited school is also acceptable,

Epic EMR experience required,

Must have two professional references,

Candidates must not have been employed by the facility within the previous twelve months,

Additional Information

Provide direct patient care at the acute level in patient homes using leveraged technology and remote clinical coordination,

Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver therapeutic interventions while maintaining high quality and safety standards,

Required to complete modules during orientation via VCU Learning Exchange, with modules finished by the Friday of orientation week,

Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS rate,

Facility has a drug and tobacco free workplace and a natural nail policy,

Locals are accepted at the same rate and no radius rules apply,

No guaranteed holidays off; all time-off requests must be submitted up front,

Fingerprinting required for ER and Psych roles; results must be received prior to start date,
