Description
Essential Functions : To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position :
- Model professional appearance and conduct at all times, setting a positive example for new and existing employees.
- Drive and maintain an environment that prioritizes safety, productivity, and accuracy.
- Observe employees to ensure training procedures, productivity expectations, accuracy standards, and safety guidelines are followed; report findings to the appropriate managers without delay.
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource and champion of Readerlink processes, policies, and objectives.
- Possess working knowledge of-or demonstrate willingness to learn-all job tasks within the department.
- Work alongside new hires to demonstrate best practices, effective production methods, and expected performance levels.
- Must have effective communication skills and be comfortable communicating in team / group environments on the distribution floor as well as in occasional classroom sessions.
- Coordinate and execute training for new employees and position-specific roles.
- Perform regular audits of the field training team to ensure consistent and accurate training delivery.
- Conduct follow-up evaluations of completed training to measure results and adjust training programs as needed.
- Develop and maintain effective training materials.
- Provide clear, timely, and constructive written and verbal feedback for each employee trained.
- Maintain Warehouse and Training Logs daily to ensure accurate documentation.
- Maintain and ensure accurate execution of forms related to training and new hire onboarding.
- Develop and maintain proper communications such as email, e-calendars, and bulletin boards to ensure employees have knowledge of events and general information.
- Work effectively as a team member with other members of management.

1 - 3 years of experience in distribution and / or in a training / communication role preferred.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills - Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred.Proven ability to lead by example and work independently.Must have the ability to explain materials in multiple ways and generate summary reports.Must possess advanced PIT driving skills.Physical Requirements : The requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.Must be able to stand / bend / reach for 8 to 10 hours per day.Good vision is necessary to read small numbers.Work Environment : The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
