Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center offers an exciting opportunity for a Surgical Technologist I specializing in General Surgery. Experience the thrill of working in one of the largest hospitals in Wisconsin, equipped with a 24 / 7 on-site heart-care team, providing exceptional surgical services.

Compensation & Benefits :

Competitive pay range of $26.10 - $39.15, based on experience and skills.
$10,000 sign-on bonus and $2,000 additional bonus for PM shifts available.

Schedule Details : Full-time evening shifts (8 or 10 hours) from Monday to Friday, with the possibility of overnight and weekend on-call responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities :

Maintain a clean and sterile environment for surgical procedures.

Utilize aseptic techniques while preparing equipment and supplies.

Assist in managing the operating room setup and equipment post-procedure.

Function as a competent second assistant during surgeries.

Transport patients and manage supply carts to ensure availability and functionality.

Qualifications :

Completion of an accredited program in Surgical Technology.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months.

No prior experience is required; we welcome new graduates!

Physical Requirements : Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with lifting specifications including :

Lift up to 50 lbs. from the floor to waist.

Carry up to 40 lbs. over a reasonable distance.

Push / pull with 30 lbs. of force.
