The start date is ASAP. The schedule consists of 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week. No call requirement is needed. Weekends are required every 3rd weekend. Floating to other departments is required. Holiday coverage will be rotational. First-time travelers will not be accepted. ACLS and BLS certifications are required, with preferred certifications being CPI and NIHSS. Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from the facility. Pending licenses are acceptable, as long as they are active by the start date. Guaranteed hours per week are 36. The scrub color is royal blue. Charting will be done using the Cerner system. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretaries. The patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The daily census fluctuates, with a total of 20 beds available. Other preferred experience includes charge experience, community hospital experience, and trauma care experience. Travel experience is required. Skills needed include telemetry, arterial line management, and wound care. Candidates will need to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals depending on volume and census. Important note : conduct issues, including unprofessional behavior or shift call-offs, may result in immediate contract termination. Max amount of RTO is 10 days. If RTO is during holidays, travelers must be willing to work 1 of the 3 holidays.
