With anticipated demand in data centers, power generation, and steel, and following the retirement of Enerfab’s long-time VP in the region, we are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to reinvigorate and expand our presence. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional who can align new opportunities with Enerfab’s proven capabilities in offsite fabrication, modularization through our connected shop network, and the ability to mobilize large numbers of union craft professionals for mega projects.

Key Responsibilities :

Market Growth & Strategy

Develop and execute a growth strategy to expand Enerfab’s market presence across power generation, steel, data center, food & beverage, and heavy industrial sectors.
Conduct in-depth market research, analyzing trends, competitors, and client needs to identify high-value opportunities.
Business Development & Client Engagement
Build and manage a pipeline of qualified prospects through networking, industry events, client visits, and targeted outreach.
Cultivate strong relationships with decision-makers, tailoring Enerfab solutions to client needs.
Develop detailed account plans to ensure long-term customer growth and retention.

Proposal & Negotiation

Partner with project management and technical teams to create compelling proposals and presentations.

Lead contract negotiations on pricing, terms, and conditions, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.

Execution Support

Stay engaged through project delivery to ensure client satisfaction and act as a strategic liaison between the client and Enerfab teams.

Reporting & Metrics

Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance insights to leadership.

Monitor KPIs and adjust strategies to maximize business development effectiveness.

Qualifications

5+ years of proven success in business development within the construction or industrial services industry.

Strong track record of generating new business and achieving / exceeding sales goals.

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to travel regularly across the region for client meetings and industry events.

Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Commitment to safety with ability to obtain OSHA 30-hour certification within the first year.
