About The Position

Job Title : RRT - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Profession : Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics

Specialty : RRT-NICU

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day

Hours per Shift : 12 hours (07 : 00 - 19 : 30)

Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience required

License : Washington State Respiratory license required

Certifications : BLS, RRT, and national certifications in ACLS, NRP, and PALS preferred

Must-Have :

Adult and NICU experience is required

Previous charge experience preferred

Experience with high acuity level patients, specifically in NICU settings

Description :

The position involves providing respiratory therapy in the NICU and adult critical care settings.

Candidates must have experience with Neonatal transports and be comfortable with the acuity of level 4 NICU.

The position requires proficiency with specific ventilators and respiratory equipment.

Experience with oscillating ventilators and high frequency jet ventilators is highly preferred.

The role entails working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and participating in critical response scenarios.

Flexibility for weekend shifts may be necessary based on unit requirements.

Candidates should possess the ability to troubleshoot critical situations and provide high-quality patient care.

Candidates will float within the hospital as needed and should have a willingness to adapt to various workflows.

This is a dynamic role suited for clinicians who are well-versed in advanced respiratory care and who thrive in fast-paced environments.
