Location : Clyde, NC (Zip : 28721) – Gateway to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park

Assignment Type : Travel Nursing

Unit : Women's Care Center (Labor & Delivery)

Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 24 / 2025 – End : 2 / 23 / 2026)

Shift : 12 Hour Nights (18 : 45 – 07 : 15)

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1680-$1800

Call Requirements : Yes

Orientation : Bi-weekly

Facility : 154-bed hospital, 11-bed Labor & Delivery unit

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or compact state

At least 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience

Required certifications : ACLS, NRP, BLS, PALS, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring

Ability to float to PCU, Emergency Department (ED), and MedSurg units

Strong clinical skills in obstetrics, gynecology, neonatal care, and pediatrics

L&D Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive patient care during labor, triage, labor management, and postpartum recovery

Assist with C-section recovery, post-gynecological procedures, and MedSurg overflow

Monitor fetal and maternal health using advanced equipment and electronic health records (EHR : Parragon)

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes

Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care

Respond to emergencies and participate in on-call rotations
