Surgery - Vascular Physician Assistant

The Oklahoma Heart Institute hires a full-time 1 st Assist PA to join our nationally recognized cardiac program in beautiful Tulsa, OK. The ideal candidate needs to be driven and thrive in a fast-paced environment. They must be coachable and willing to practice at the top of their license. The team would prefer candidates with some cardiac experience but is open to new grads eager to learn the specialty. Be part of a strong APP / First Assists team working with progressive, busy surgical practice. We re growing and will have 5 surgeons by Jan 1, 2025 : 3 CT and 2 vascular, with plans for continued growth in the vascular surgical department.

About this Physician Assistant Job Opening :

• Join a team of 5 Surgeons & 4 APPs
• Mon-Fri, rotating call for holidays, weekends, and weekdays amongst other 1 st Assist APPs
• Daily Patient Load : 2-4 surgeries per day (varies)
• Smart Technology : See more patients without extending your day. Our providers use Epic EMR and Ambience AI scribe technology to automate documentation, reduce administrative burden, improve patient flow, and ensure accurate coding leading to better work-life balance and revenue.
