Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Selectek is looking for an Electrical Engineer capable of leading a group of designers and drafters as a subject matter exporter in design / build commercial electrical construction design.

Required :

Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering

Working experience with California codes and standards preferred

FE / PE preferred

Proficient use of Autodesk Revit and CAD

Excellent planning and organization skills required for our fast-paced environment

Strong communication skills

Job Responsibilities :

Review project criteria and requirements

Perform complete construction documents, including drawings and specifications

Coordination and collaboration with trade partners and team members

Direct and review design through the plan check and construction phases

Technical resource to team members

Electrical design including but not limited to power distribution, branch power, branch lighting, lighting controls (commercial construction)

Perform engineering calculations

Prepare Title 24 compliance forms

Responsibly to meet applicable codes and customer requirements

Responsible for design coordination with the project manager so that design documents meet project scope requirements

Attend meetings - architect, MEP, GC, project manager, and owner's SME coordination

Coordinate with BIM department

Pay Range : $66.10 / hour - $96.15 / hour ($125,000 - $200,000 annual salary)

Pay method when direct : Salary

Term of assignment : 6 months contract to direct

Location of Job : Santa Clara, CA

WFH : possible down the road

Remote : No

Hours & Shift : Monday - Friday : 8am - 5pm

Overtime : Some on occasion

Travel : None

Work Attire : Business casual
