Recently earning an ‘A’ for safety from Leapfrog, Charlotte Hungerford Hospital is a 109-bed, general acute care community hospital in Torrington, CT, which serves as a regional health care resource for 100,000 residents of Litchfield County and Northwest CT. We are seeking a medical oncologist with clinical practice experience in multi-disciplinary cancer care delivery and participation in clinical trials as a principal investigator. Multi-disciplinary care is led through our Disease Management Teams (DMT) which brings together medical, surgical and radiation oncologists with pathology, nursing, pharmacy and other allied health cancer professionals. The Hartford HealthCare Oncology Service Line and Disease Management Team (DMT) function to standardize care and practices across the integrated delivery system.
