Job Description
American Traveler seeks a Speech Language Pathologist with full CCC-SLP certification and SC state licensure for an outpatient-focused role treating pediatric and adult clients.
Responsibilities
Work in a combined inpatient and outpatient speech therapy settingApproximately 80% outpatient caseload, serving both pediatric and adult clientsTypical schedule is 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm; a 4- or 5-day week (Monday to Thursday or Monday to Friday) may be negotiatedProvide evaluations and therapy for expressive and receptive language disorders, cognitive disorders, reading disorders, and dysphagiaIndependently maintain patient records, completing documentation and summaries in line with hospital policiesCommunicate and coordinate care with physicians, patients, families, and the interdisciplinary teamParticipate in professional development, mentoring, supervision of provisionally licensed clinicians, and training of graduate studentsAdhere to the American Speech Language and Hearing Association Code of Ethics, SC State LLR guidelines, and hospital policiesEnsure patient confidentiality and utilize appropriate health and safety protocolsRequirements
Current CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) requiredActive South Carolina Speech Language Pathology license required if applicableCurrent AHA BLS certification requiredAt least 1 year of relevant experiencePrimary source license / certificate verification requiredBenefits
