The senior accountant is responsible for centralized accounting functions within the operating unit, directly supporting the accounting manager. This process-oriented individual will work through standardizing and centralizing month-end activities and managing the accounting for transactions within the division’s unit. We are seeking an organized leader who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment for a growing company.
Key Responsibilities :
- Directly support the accounting manager
- Month-end close procedures (journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, etc.)
- Presentation of monthly financial results to the Controller with explanations around key drivers and period-over-period fluctuations.
- Support annual financial statement audit requests
- Journal entry and reconciliation review
- Intercompany bookings and reconciliation
- Percentage of Completion accounting for the entire division (monthly calculations and review)
- Payroll Processing
- Cash and accounts payable management, including payment processing to vendors
- Recording of vendor invoices
Preferred Qualifications :
