PURPOSE
- To support the refreshed Digital Strategy focusing on GenAI, AI and Modern Data Platform, a senior data strategy and monetization leader is strongly needed to help enterprise-wide stakeholders make smarter business decisions, leveraging data and insights, fostering internal communication networks, and drive data & AI adoption and monetization.
- Lead the insights center of excellence (COE) and serve as a central resource to FWD all BUs. He / she utilizes the storytelling and leadership communication skills that are core to the role while adding capabilities to find insights in analytical and operational data as well as technical skills around Data Science & AI, Business Intelligence, and the modern data platform such as Data Mesh.
- Lead group data strategy and operation design and new data initiative planning to make FWD data strategy stay the leading edge in insurance industry
- Strong understanding of team’s processes to be the data champion for Group Data to drive the adoption of their data solutions, articulate the business benefit, get stronger buy-in from business stakeholders and provide strategy direction and business feedback.
- Drive group wide data literacy and transformation to embed AI everywhere along customer, distribution and employee journey
KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES
Drive Smart Insurance Monetization to increase new VNB, improve customer experience and achieve operational excellence.Work with Group Strategy and BU to define VNB target for data monetizationDrive Data Monetization execution by providing Subject Matter Expert recommendationsEmbed with stakeholder teams to understand where their business focuses are and why, what key decisions they make, how they make, and how data insights can seamlessly plug in to their business strategy as well as existing processes to maximize adoption of insights-driven decision-making.Observe and translate stakeholder data behaviors to technical teams (e.g., data engineering, data governance) to implement standards and processes that best fit existing ways of workingEngage stakeholders to turn their business questions into testable hypotheses. Help prioritize needs and translate requirements for technology, analytics, and data science teams.Utilize AI and data visualization techniques to interpret and communicate complex data in a clear and accessible manner.Present insights to diverse teams inside and outside the organization applying data storytelling best practices and tailoring the message for the audience (e.g., leaders, line of business decision-makers, technical teams Get their buy-in and agree to implement.Produce statistics to measure product, process, and project outcomes, including benchmark metrics measuring communication processes. Conduct project debriefs, and ensure learning is incorporated for future projects and process improvement.Own, plan, and execute enterprise-wide data literacy and data storytelling education, serving users of different seniority, skill levels, and needs.Manage GO data strategy and operationsQUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, MBA, Economics, Communications or related fields15+ years of experience in a major financial or consultant organization, with large-scale data or similar program management experience.At least 5 years in a management role, with board level change or transformation leadership experience.Well versed with industry trendsAdvanced communications, marketing, or journalism experience.Good experience using business intelligence tools and data visualization best practices.With experience for data and AI monetizationKNOWLEDGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS
