Data Scientist, NJ

Location : Pennington, NJ

Work Arrangement : Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Employment Type : Full-time (W2 only – No C2C or 1099)

Experience Required : 7+ years

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist with a strong background in machine learning, data modeling, and statistical analysis. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying ML models, preferably in a risk-related or financial services environment.

This role will support data-driven decision-making processes and help deliver innovative AI / ML solutions in a collaborative and high-performance team setting.

Develop, validate, and implement machine learning and statistical models.

Work with large-scale datasets to extract actionable insights.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineering, product, and risk teams.

Analyze and interpret the results of model performance and deliver recommendations.

Stay current with emerging trends and tools in AI / ML and model risk management.

Must-Have Skills :

7+ years of experience in Data Science or a related field.

Proficiency in Python for data analysis, modeling, and ML development.

Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling.

Hands-on experience with data visualization and analytical tools.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Good to Have :

Experience in Model Risk Development related to ML or LLMs (Large Language Models) .

Financial services or risk modeling background. Candidate Requirements :
