Job description

Engagement & Giving Officer

Who You Are

The Episcopal Academy seeks a digitally fluent, relationship-driven, and growth-minded Engagement & Giving Officer to strengthen alumni pride, deepen connections across generations, and drive annual giving through creative digital engagement, thoughtful stewardship, and strategic program execution. This role is a great entry point for a career in Advancement and offers meaningful ownership, visibility, and professional runway within a high-performing Advancement team.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Advancement, Annual Giving & Engagement, and working closely with the Director of Alumni and the Director of Annual Giving, the Officer will lead key alumni engagement initiatives while contributing to fundraising strategy and pipeline development. This role blends front-facing relationship building with behind-the-scenes coordination, digital content creation, and data-informed outreach.

What You Will Do

The Engagement & Giving Officer will :

  • Lead engagement and fundraising efforts for select reunion classes, young alumni, and student segments.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with alumni through strategic outreach, personalized communication, and consistent engagement touchpoints.
  • Create and execute digital content strategies for Episcopal Academy Alumni social channels (Instagram, LinkedIn) that increase visibility, pride, and participation.
  • Shape the full digital experience for alumni events - from event page creation and audience segmentation to social media collaboration, brand alignment, and post-event follow-up.
  • Partner with the Alumni Society to support the Advancement team's role in the Episcopal Academy Golf Tournament, contributing to planning, communications, participant engagement, and sponsorship strategy.
  • Support the Episcopal Fund by executing multi-channel campaigns, engaging Giving Day ambassadors, and surfacing leadership prospects.
  • Manage and steward key donor groups, including members of the Episcopal Fund's Loyalty Circle.
  • Transform clean data into strategic outreach lists that enhance personalization and campaign effectiveness.
  • Represent Episcopal Academy at on- and off-campus events, building authentic, lasting alumni relationships.
  • Collaborate with Advancement and campus partners to strengthen Episcopal Academy's culture of lifelong belonging.

About You

You will thrive in this role if you are :

  • A people-centered, mission-driven professional who is organized, creative, and eager to grow as a frontline advancement leader.
  • Energized by connecting with alumni and making them feel known, valued, and celebrated.
  • A strong communicator and storyteller, with a sharp eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining a consistent, authentic brand voice.
  • Able to balance creativity with discipline, able to generate fresh ideas for events, traditions, and stewardship while managing multiple projects with accuracy, thoughtfulness, and follow-through.
  • Collaborative and inclusive, comfortable working across teams, and skilled at building genuine relationships.
  • Tech-savvy and data-informed, using CRM systems, segmentation strategies, and digital platforms to enhance personalization and drive results.
  • Curious, coachable, and growth-oriented, excited to contribute in a fast-paced environment, while expanding your skills, confidence, and professional runway.
  • Candidates with varying levels of experience are encouraged to apply. A bachelor's degree is required. Please submit a cover letter with your application.
