Role Overview : As a Project Engineer , you'll be a key player in ensuring our projects run smoothly, from start to finish. You’ll coordinate all aspects of the construction and administrative process, helping to keep our bid packages and scopes of work organized and on track. You’ll monitor vendor and subcontractor compliance, streamline information flows, and ensure everything is moving forward according to schedule. Attention to detail, a love for structure, and an appreciation for good documentation are essential. What You’ll Do : Collaborate : Partner with the Project Manager, Superintendent, and Preconstruction teams to finalize bid packages and scope of work for CM projects. Support : Assist the Project Manager with organizing key contract deliverables, such as : Schedule of Values Cash Flow (Draw) Projections Project Schedule Document Control : Work with the Project Management Assistant to develop and manage a document control process that integrates with all project management systems. Ensure smooth and consistent oversight once in place. Compliance : Obtain and maintain necessary construction permits to ensure all work complies with regulations. Organization : Maintain accurate and up-to-date files on contract documents, subcontract records, plans, specifications, and any changes or clarifications. Communication : Keep internal and external stakeholders informed about document changes and project updates. Change Orders : Prepare and evaluate subcontractor change orders, ensuring they are processed appropriately with the Project Manager. Stakeholder Engagement : Communicate effectively with a wide range of project stakeholders to keep everyone aligned. What You Bring : Team Player : Ability to work effectively with others and communicate clearly. Attention to Detail : Capable of juggling multiple tasks without missing important details. Construction Knowledge : Understanding of construction law, general business practices, and technical aspects of construction. Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management software, and relevant web applications at an intermediate level. Professionalism : Positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and a professional approach.
