Job description

Position Overview :

  • The Senior Director of Beverage Sales will be responsible for leading and managing sales initiatives targeting the restaurant industry.
  • This role demands a professional with extensive experience in restaurant operations who can leverage their industry knowledge to build strong relationships, optimize sales processes, and achieve revenue targets.
  • The focus will be on integrating operational expertise to enhance customer satisfaction and drive business growth.

Responsibilities :

  • Sales Strategy Development : Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to penetrate and expand our presence in the restaurant industry.
  • Operational Integration :

  • Utilize your deep understanding of restaurant operations to create tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of our restaurant clients.
  • Relationship Building :

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within the restaurant sector.
  • Understand their operational challenges and provide effective beverage solutions.
  • Team Leadership :

  • Lead and mentor the beverage sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure the team achieves its sales objectives.
  • Market Analysis :

  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Adapt sales strategies based on these insights.
  • Performance Metrics :

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track sales performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on sales activities and outcomes.
  • Collaboration :

  • Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure alignment of sales initiatives with overall company goals.
  • Customer Success :

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing operational and sales-related issues promptly and effectively.
  • Contract Negotiation :

  • Lead negotiations with prospective clients to secure favorable terms and conditions that align with company objectives.
  • Budget Management :

  • Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize return on investment (ROI).
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • An MBA is preferred. 5+ of experience in a senior sales or operations role within the restaurant industry.
  • Extensive background in restaurant operations, with a deep understanding of industry dynamics and challenges.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
  • Experience in relationship management and contract negotiation.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
