Job description

Pre Construction Estimator - Cabling, AV and Security :

Role : This role reports to the Pre-Construction Manager.

Location : Denver, CO. or Dallas, TX

Responsibilities : Responsibilities as outlined below, and any additional duties as required / assigned by the Pre Construction manager. This employee should have a high level of knowledge with MS Excel, Word and Bluebeam. RCDD or equivalent certification is desired but not required. Must have min of 5 years' experience in Structured Cabling, Audio Visual and / or Security. Experience in the form of field installation is preferred.

  • Estimating

Monitor new bid opportunities and work with the management team to identify targets.

  • Prepare complete estimates including review of all specifications.
  • Work with our distribution channel to secure project pricing.
  • Prepare project proposals including scope of work narratives and pricing responses.
  • Other

    • Suggest improvement processes for the preconstruction group.

  • Assist Project Managers with change order pricing when needed.
