Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $2,300 per week in Belleville, IL

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Telemetry Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night Hours per Shift : 12 Experience : Minimum 2 years in Telemetry License : Valid State License Required Certifications : ACLS, BLS Must-Have : - Cardiac drip management experience - Sheath pulls experience - Central line management experience Description : Work 12-hour night shifts on a fast-paced cardiac telemetry unit. Candidates must be self-sufficient and capable of managing critical care cardiac patients and drips. Hourly rounding and bedside shift report are required for all patients. Patient ratios are 1 : 5-6. Every other weekend availability is mandatory. Experience with interpreting dysrhythmias and managing advanced airway management techniques is required. Candidates will float to other units as needed to meet facility needs. The unit has interdisciplinary support, including physical therapy and respiratory services. Candidates will care for high-risk cardiac patients, including those post-op open heart surgery and new tracheostomy patients. Experience with various cardiac procedures is necessary.
