Competitive benefits for health, disability and 401k offered Medical malpractice insurance Potential for leadership opportunities which will augment compensation package Applied understanding of general principles of optometry and best practices for the diagnosis and treatment of eye-related disorders and conditions Strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate to patients of diverse backgrounds Excellent patient first service skills Ability to maintain patient confidentiality General computer proficiency Demonstrated problem solving skills and multitasking ability Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry program Active state optometry license or ability to obtain one Community based out-patient practice with diverse patient population Work collaboratively with highly skilled and collegial team Technician support with specialty testing available on site Full or part time with flexible schedules Supported by helpful and robust MSO that provides backend office support including, finance, marketing, HR, operations, compliance and legal with a growing list of service offerings
Eye Health Vision Center is seeking Optometrists to join our cutting edge Ophthalmology and Optometry practices located in the Dartmouth, MA, area. We also are hiring at our locations in Taunton, Fairhaven, Fall River, and more! We have amazing opportunities for motivated Optometrists to join our established vision clinics.
We offer a competitive base salary, plus incentives based on net collections. Relocation assistance is available!
Not interested in relocating to Dartmouth, MA? We have practices in Rhode Island as well!
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Conduct eye exams using optometric equipment and general diagnostic interpretation.
- Diagnose and treat ocular disease.
- Prescribe, fit, and adjust eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids.
- Recommend appropriate patient follow-up and care options.
- Answer questions and provide advice to patients regarding vision and optical issues.
- Deliver outstanding customer service through all patient interactions.
- Direct staff and assist in the development of the overall practice.
