Job description

We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for a 1-day locum tenens assignment in Minnesota. This opportunity begins on Dec 26, 2025, with a day shift scheduled from 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a Primary Care or Urgent Care outpatient setting and be comfortable working independently in a dynamic clinical environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive care to patients in a Primary Care or Urgent Care outpatient setting
  • Perform patient assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans
  • Manage acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Prescribe medications in accordance with DEA regulations
  • Document all patient encounters using eClinicalWorks EMR system
  • Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care
  • Follow all clinical protocols, standards, and safety guidelines

    • Additional Information

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Primary Care or Urgent Care outpatient settings required
  • Must hold a valid Minnesota license
  • Required certifications : Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
  • Board certification in Family Medicine required
  • Proficiency with eClinicalWorks EMR preferred
