Job descriptionThis position can be located in either our Boston, MA, East Hartford, CT, or Manchester, NH offices. As an integral CDM Smith New England Transportation team member you will; Under general supervision, develop large-scale projects such as highways, tunnels, and mass transit engineering designs of basic to moderate complexity to meet client project requirements. Review draft designs for compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Ensure that firm policies and practices are followed on all designs. Perform site reviews and studies, as needed, to ensure designs are aligned with location specifications. Update design requirements as necessary. Inspect new construction and existing transportation structures as necessary. Attend conferences, symposia, etc. to improve the visibility of the firm's products and services in collaboration with applicable sales staff. Perform other duties as required. Provide technical guidance and training to more junior staff. Review the work of more junior staff.
