About the Clinician's Workday

This emergency department opportunity offers 10-hour shifts with a total of 40-50 physician hours and 40 advanced practice provider (APP) hours weekly, supporting an annual volume of 52,000 patients. Board-certified or board-eligible physicians in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine are accepted; Family Medicine providers must have current ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications through the AHA. APP coverage is provided 40 hours daily. Physician shift times are Monday-Wednesday : 6 a.m.-4 p.m., 10 a.m.-8 p.m., 12 p.m.-10 p.m., 3 p.m.-1 a.m., and 8 p.m.-6 a.m.; Thursday, Friday, and Sunday : 6 a.m.-5 p.m., 10 a.m.-9 p.m., 3 p.m.-2 a.m., and 8 p.m.-6 a.m.; Saturday : 6 a.m.-4 p.m., 10 a.m.-8 p.m., 3 p.m.-1 a.m., and 8 p.m.-6 a.m. NP / PA shift times are 7 a.m.-5 p.m., 9 a.m.-7 p.m., 1 p.m.-11 p.m., and 7 p.m.-5 a.m. The EMR system used is Epic.
