Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing key accounting functions, including treasury management, accounts payable / receivable, and team leadership. This role requires a strong combination of technical accounting expertise, operational efficiency, and leadership skills to support the company's continued growth and success.
Responsibilities :
- Treasury Management : Oversee daily treasury functions, including cash flow analysis, forecasting, and bank reconciliations. Manage banking relationships and ensure optimal cash positioning.
- Accounts Payable / Receivable : Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal controls.
- Financial Reporting : Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Team Leadership : Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. Foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Process Improvement : Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounting department.
- Financial Analysis : Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making across the organization.
- Compliance : Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards (GAAP) and internal controls.
- System Administration : Assist in the implementation and maintenance of accounting software and financial systems.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with other departments (e.g., Sales, Operations, FP&A) to ensure alignment on financial goals and initiatives.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.CPA certification preferred.Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a managerial role.Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls.Proven experience in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and treasury functions.Excellent leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.Advanced knowledge of accounting software (e.g., NetSuite) and financial systems.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
