Location : Roseburg, Oregon
Facility Type : Acute Care Hospital (175 Beds)
Start Date : ASAP – ongoing coverage
Shift Type : Days + Call
Estimated Need : Consistent monthly blocks (flexible)

Licensure : Active state license required (Oregon)
Certification : Must be Board Certified; clean background required

Case Types
The locum anesthesiologist will manage a wide range of cases, including :
General Surgery
Orthopedics
Urology
Gynecology
Ophthalmology
Obstetrics (moderate volume; epidurals and labor analgesia)
Level III Trauma
No Pediatrics
No Hearts
Regional Anesthesia
Regional block proficiency required, including but not limited to :
Interscalene
Supraclavicular
Infraclavicular
Axillary
Adductor Canal
TAP Blocks
Popliteal Blocks
Clinical Responsibilities
Perform pre-op evaluations
Personally perform anesthesia for all assigned cases
Manage intraoperative anesthesia care
Perform regional blocks as clinically indicated
Provide labor analgesia when on call
Participate in call rotation
Ensure accurate, timely Epic documentation
Collaborate with surgeons, CRNAs, nursing, and perioperative services
Candidate Requirements
Board Certified Anesthesiologist (ABA or AOBA)
Active & unrestricted Oregon state medical license
Clean background (no malpractice or disciplinary issues)
Strong competency with regional anesthesia
Comfortable working independently
Ability to participate in call rotation
