Youll work directly under the Lead Carpenter on residential and commercial projects, performing hands-on carpentry tasks with precision and care. Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints (basic knowledge required)

Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials according to job specifications

Install and adjust structural components and finishing elements

Operate hand and power tools, including circular saws, grinders, levels, and drills

Assist in building and assembling furniture, fixtures, and other project components

Inspect and repair damaged structures or materials as needed

Communicate regularly with the Lead Carpenter on progress and issues

Work effectively and respectfully with fellow crew members and staff

Follow OSHA safety standards and jobsite safety protocols

Maintain clean and organized work areas at the end of each day

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in carpentry or construction

High School Diploma or GED preferred

Must be detail-oriented, punctual, and a strong team player

Able to take direction and contribute to a collaborative worksite

No certifications or licenses required for this role
