Job Title : Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR Circulator)

Position Type : Travel Nursing Contract

Location : Niagara Falls, NY 14301 (New York healthcare jobs)

Start Dates : Early December starts available (12 / 8, 12 / 15, or 12 / 22)

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day shifts, 10 hours (7 : 00am – 5 : 00pm or 9 : 00am – 7 : 00pm)

Hours per Week : Up to 40 hours, including on-call rotation

On-Call Rotation : Weekdays (after shift until 7am), weekends (one 24-hour day, Saturday or Sunday), and holidays; every 4th to 5th night / weekend depending on rotation size

Number of Positions : 2

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2,330 - $2,500

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State

Minimum 1 year of recent experience as an OR Circulator or Operating Room RN

BLS certification required

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to respond within 30 minutes during on-call shifts

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

Serve as the circulating nurse in the operating room, ensuring patient safety and supporting the surgical team

Prepare the OR for surgical procedures, verify patient identity, and maintain sterile technique

Monitor patient status and advocate for patient needs throughout the surgical process

Accurately document all aspects of patient care and surgical procedures

Participate in on-call rotation, providing coverage for urgent and emergency cases

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals
