American Traveler is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Burlington, Vermont.

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with at least one year of experience, ARRT or ARMRIT credentials, and prior Epic usage for a 16-week evening shift assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Position is in an imaging unit at a teaching hospital setting
  • 12-hour evening shifts with a rotating schedule including 1-2 weekends per month
  • Must work at least 2 of the following holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Day
  • No block scheduling allowed and schedule flexibility is required
  • No call required for this assignment
  • Experience with Phillips MRI equipment is required
  • Use of Epic EMR within the past 2 years is required
  • Orientation provided on a bi-weekly basis, typically on Mondays
  • Reliable personal or rental vehicle is strongly recommended due to limited public transportation
  • Vehicles should have all-season or snow tires from November through April
  • Candidates must provide a complete and detailed work history for consideration
  • All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
  • Candidates who live within 50 miles are considered local
  • Holiday coverage is shared among all staff

    • Requirements

  • Active BLS certification is required
  • ARRT or ARMRIT certification with MR advanced licensure is required
  • At least 1 year of MRI technologist experience is required
  • Teaching hospital experience is required
  • Prior travel experience is preferred
  • Must have Epic experience within the last 2 years
  • Phillips MRI equipment experience is required
  • License required if applicable
