Job Description : Managing Texas Foreclosure Attorney
We are seeking an experienced Texas Foreclosure Attorney to lead and expand the firm's Texas practice. This role will oversee a high-volume foreclosure and litigation portfolio, manage the Texas legal team, and serve as the firm's primary representative with clients, courts, and industry partners.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with deep knowledge of Texas foreclosure, strong litigation experience, and the ability to balance strategic oversight with active case handling.

Key Responsibilities
Practice & Case Management
- Oversee 250–400 active Texas foreclosure and litigation files from start to resolution.
- Manage all judicial and non-judicial foreclosure processes and ensure compliance with timelines, notices, and filings.
- Handle litigation matters such as TROs, contested actions, and related proceedings.
- Provide strategic guidance on escalations, complex cases, and risk mitigation.
Subject-Matter Expertise
Lead strategy and execution for :HELOC foreclosuresReverse mortgage foreclosuresProbate-related foreclosure mattersReview and approve pleadings, motions, complaints, and legal filings for accuracy and compliance.Leadership & Team Oversight
Serve as the managing attorney for the Texas office.Oversee a team of approximately 10–15 staff, including attorneys, paralegals, and support personnel.Partner with an experienced probate and foreclosure support team.Coach, mentor, and develop team members; promote a culture of accountability and ownership.Client Relations & Representation
Act as a primary point of contact for Texas-based clients.Attend client meetings, conferences, and Texas industry events.Strengthen client relationships and help expand business opportunities.Compliance & Quality Control
Ensure all work complies with Texas law, investor guidelines, and client requirements.Prevent compliance issues or errors that could invalidate a foreclosure.Maintain and improve internal processes, procedures, and training materials.Qualifications
Required
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Active Texas law license in good standing.7+ years of experience in Texas foreclosure (judicial & non-judicial).Experience handling litigation related to foreclosure, including TROs and contested matters.Hands-on experience with :HELOC foreclosuresReverse mortgage foreclosuresProbate matters related to foreclosureExperience managing a high-volume creditors' rights caseload.Proven leadership and team management experience.Strong written and verbal communication skills.High level of professionalism, ownership, and attention to detail.Preferred
Multiple bar licenses in other creditors' rights states.Prior experience as a managing attorney or office lead.Industry relationships with Texas mortgage servicers or lenders.Personal Attributes
