Job Title : Claims Supervisor - Workers' Compensation
Location : Ontario, CA (Hybrid - 2 days / week onsite; first 3 days onsite for training)

Position Summary :
We are seeking an experienced and certified Workers' Compensation Claims Supervisor to join our team in Ontario, CA. This role is responsible for overseeing complex and high-exposure workers' compensation claims, ensuring compliance with California regulations, and mentoring a team of examiners. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of California WC claims experience and hold a valid SIP certification.
Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze and manage complex or technically challenging workers' compensation claims.
- Develop and execute action plans to ensure timely and appropriate claim resolution.
- Approve and negotiate settlements within designated authority.
- Assign and manage reserves; ensure reserve adequacy throughout claim lifecycle.
- Authorize and process benefit payments and adjustments.
- Ensure timely and accurate state filings.
- Oversee litigation processes and coordinate with legal and investigative vendors.
- Apply cost containment strategies to reduce overall claim costs.
- Manage claim recoveries including subrogation and excess recoveries.
- Maintain professional communication with claimants and clients.
- Ensure accurate documentation and coding of claim files.
- Refer cases to management as needed per client service instructions.
Additional Responsibilities :

Education & Licensing :
Bachelor's degree preferred.SIP Certification required.Professional certifications relevant to workers' compensation are a plus.Experience :
Minimum of 5 years of workers' compensation claims management experience in California.Skills & Knowledge :
In-depth knowledge of California workers' compensation laws and best practices.Strong analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills.Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and claims management systems.Ability to lead and work collaboratively in a team environment.Commitment to meeting or exceeding service expectations.
