CRNA Job Details

Assignment Type : Locum tenens (contract CRNA position)

Location : Pearisburg, Virginia – New River Valley (Virginia CRNA jobs)

Start Date : January 26, 2026 (allow 100-120 days for credentialing)

Schedule : 5x8-hour day shifts (08 : 00 – 17 : 00), Monday through Friday

Hours per Week : 40

Practice Setting : Independent, CRNA-led community hospital; must be willing to float between Giles Community Hospital and New River Valley (25-30 minutes apart)

EMR System : Epic

CRNA Qualifications

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification required

Active Virginia medical license (will consider candidates in process; must be responsive during licensing)

Minimum 1 year of CRNA experience in a clinical or hospital setting

Ability to float between healthcare facilities as needed

Experience with Epic EMR preferred

CRNA Responsibilities

Provide general anesthesia care for a diverse case mix : endoscopy, urology, general surgery, orthopedics, pacemakers, and battery changes

No heads, hearts, pediatrics, or trauma cases required

Work independently within a supportive, CRNA-led healthcare team

Accurately document patient care in Epic EMR

Deliver safe, high-quality anesthesia services in a community hospital setting

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and adapt to floating between facilities
