Assignment Length : 13 weeks Start Date : January 12, 2026 End Date : April 13, 2026 Shift : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM (12-hour night shifts) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1530 - $1640 per week Unit : Medical-Surgical (Med / Surg), 26 beds Patient Ratios : 1 : 6 or team nursing 1 : 9 Dress Code : Royal, Galaxy, Pewter Gray, or White scrubs Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license (Registered Nurse) BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg RN experience Strong communication and time management skills Positive attitude and ability to work well with others Familiarity with Meditech documentation system preferred Ability to float to other Med / Surg units as needed Med / Surg Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to Med / Surg patients in a 26-bed medical-surgical unit Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including charge nurses, unit secretaries, and patient care techs Utilize Alaris IV pumps and adhere to hospital protocols for patient safety Perform hourly purposeful rounds and participate in bedside shift reports Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Meditech Provide exceptional patient experience using AIDET communication framework Work every other weekend as part of the scheduling requirements Contribute to a positive and supportive unit culture with high employee engagement Why Choose Dickson, TN for Your Next Nursing Job?
