About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our growing team in Denver. The ideal candidate will bring 2–5 years of progressive HR experience, with a strong foundation in recruiting, employee relations, and HR operations. This role is hybrid, requiring a regular presence at our locations around the metro area, and will serve as a key liaison with our Professional Employer Organization (PEO). You'll play a crucial role in supporting payroll preparation, maintaining compliance, and driving full-cycle recruiting for multiple departments.
This position will be in the office in south Denver 4 days per week with one day working remotely.
Key Responsibilities :
- Serve as the primary point of contact for our PEO relationship, ensuring smooth coordination of HR functions such as onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance updates.
- Collaborate with PEO to support accurate payroll preparation and reporting, including timesheet audits, employee changes, and payroll data validation.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of candidates across multiple departments.
- Manage HR systems and employee records with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to employees and managers regarding policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Assist with the implementation and communication of HR initiatives including performance management, training, and employee engagement.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.2–5 years of HR experience, ideally in a generalist role with exposure to recruiting, payroll processes, and employee relations.Proven experience managing high-volume recruitment with strong sourcing and interviewing skills.Working knowledge of HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; highly organized and detail-oriented.Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.Preferred Qualifications :
PHR or SHRM-CP certification (or the willingness to get certification)Experience in a fast-paced, growing company or startup environment.Familiarity with Colorado employment laws and hybrid workplace practices.What We Offer :
