We are seeking a locum tenens physician specializing in Hematology and Oncology for a long-term opportunity. This position is located near Springfield, MO and offers a flexible, ongoing schedule with both clinical hours and on-call responsibilities. The role is primarily focused on hematology patients with the potential for consults and follow-ups.

This is a great opportunity for physicians looking for long-term locum tenens work in a supportive environment. You'll be joining a team that consists of 2 full-time physicians and 2 full-time Advanced Practice Providers (APP) who staff the clinic.

Key Details :

• Start Date : ASAP - Ongoing
• Reason for Coverage : Long-term vacancy with permanent search
• Shift Type : Scheduled clinical hours plus call coverage
• Weekend Call : 24-hour on-call coverage for 1 to 2 weekends per month
• Schedule Requirement : Availability for 2 weeks per month
• Practice Setting : Outpatient with some inpatient responsibilities
• Board Certification : Must be board-certified or board-eligible
• Fellowship : Preferred, but not required
• License Requirement : Must hold a Missouri medical license
• EMR System : Epic
