Valley Baptist Physician Network is seeking a Board Eligible / Board Certified OB / GYN to join a well-established practice located just steps from Valley Baptist Medical Center - Harlingen. This is a unique opportunity to transition into a thriving group, with strong mentorship available as a senior physician prepares for retirement.

Practice Setting : Clinic located 2 minutes from Valley Baptist Medical Center - Harlingen

Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM; structured call model with in-house call rooms available

Facilities : 14 labor rooms, 7 triage beds, 4 OBOR suites, and 24-hour in-house anesthesia coverage for L&D

Technology : Access to advanced resources, including da Vinci robotic surgical systems, 3D mammography, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery certifications (COEMIG / COERS)

Support : Robust team including clinic staff, anesthesia, maternal-fetal medicine, and Level III NICU coverage

Candidate Requirements :

M.D. or D.O.

Texas medical license or eligibility for an unrestricted Texas license

Board Eligible / Board Certified in by the ABOG or AOBOG

Womens & Childrens Services :

Valley Baptist Health System provides a full continuum of care across its Harlingen and Brownsville campuses, with a Healthy Womens Center, dedicated L&D and postpartum units, and OB / GYNs on call 24 / 7. Both hospitals hold Level III Maternal Designations with advanced maternal-fetal medicine services through partnership with Driscoll providers. Patients benefit from birthing and Lamaze training, lactation support, and family-centered programs that emphasize comfort and care.
