Job descriptionFull-service acute care Behavioral health center Sleep center Wound treatment center with 2 hyperbaric chambers Advanced diagnostics and imaging Healthgrades Patient Safety Excellence Award Ranked in the top 10% nationally for patient safety Ranked in the top 15% for patient experience MD or DO with completion of a cardiology fellowship Board Certified / Eligible in Cardiology Ohio medical license (or ability to obtain quickly) Strong clinical and interpersonal skills Comfortable with inpatient rounding, stress testing, and diagnostic interpretation
Location : Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, Ohio
Schedule : Monday Friday, 8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM
Call Rotation : 1 : 5 nights / weekends (includes rounding)
Position Overview
Upper Valley Medical Center (UVMC) is seeking a Board-Certified / Board-Eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist for an immediate, short-term opportunity (approx. 4 months). You ll join a collaborative team of four experienced cardiologists, rotating responsibilities across :
- Inpatient consults and rounding (morning census : 8 10 patients)
- Outpatient clinic coverage
- Reading panels and stress tests
This role offers a balanced mix of clinical and diagnostic work, with support from a well-established team and access to advanced technology including EPIC EMR .
