CHIEF ENGINEER

NVE Inc. is looking for a full-time Chief Engineer to join our team in Memphis, TN. This is a full-time position offering $50 to $55 per hour , depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes the following :

YOUR SCHEDULE AS A CHIEF ENGINEER

This is a Monday through Friday position, from 7 : 00 a.m. to 4 : 00 p.m. Some additional hours may be required based on building or contract needs.

YOUR DAY

As a Chief Engineer, you will be responsible for managing building operations and assigning maintenance tasks to your team using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). You will determine the best methods, tools, and materials for maintenance and repair work. You will also inspect work completed by both staff and subcontractors to ensure it meets quality standards. You will help schedule and coordinate daily tasks, train staff, and keep systems like boilers, chillers, emergency generators, and building automation systems running properly. In the absence of the Project Manager, you will make critical decisions to keep operations moving smoothly.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

OSHA 30 certification is preferred. An existing HSPD-12 determination for work is also highly desirable.
