Compensation : $55 per hour + $1,000 weekend stipend

Puget Sound Home Health & Hospice provides compassionate and holistic hospice care to patients and families across Pierce County. We are seeking an experienced Hospice Admissions Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a weekend on-call role focused on patient admissions and urgent visits.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary on-call admissions nurse during weekends, performing initial hospice assessments and completing required documentation.
• Conduct in-home or facility-based admissions, evaluations, and symptom management visits as needed.
• Provide expert clinical judgment, emotional support, and education to patients and families during the admission process.
• Communicate and coordinate with the hospice interdisciplinary team (physician, social worker, chaplain, aides) to ensure timely and compassionate care.
• Maintain accurate and prompt documentation in the EMR system.
• Respond to urgent calls and coordinate follow-up care as appropriate.
