Job Title : Electrical EstimatorJob DescriptionThe Construction Estimator with Electrical Experience is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for construction projects, with a focus on electrical systems. This role involves analyzing project plans, specifications, and requirements to determine material, labor, and equipment costs, particularly for electrical installations and systems. The estimator collaborates with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure estimates align with project goals and budgets.ResponsibilitiesReview architectural, electrical, and engineering drawings, specifications, and other project documents to identify scope and requirements.Perform detailed takeoffs for electrical components, including wiring, conduits, fixtures, panels, and other systems.Calculate costs for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services specific to electrical work.Prepare comprehensive and accurate cost estimates, including direct and indirect costs, contingencies, and profit margins.Collaborate with project teams to develop value engineering options and cost-saving
and evaluate bids from electrical subcontractors and suppliers.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and industry trends.Present estimates to clients, management, or project stakeholders and address questions or

project teams during bidding, negotiation, and contract processes.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in construction management, electrical engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).3+ years of experience as a construction estimator, with specific expertise in electrical systems.Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and installation methods.Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Accubid, Bluebeam) and Microsoft Office Suite.Familiarity with national and local electrical codes (e.g., NEC) and construction standards.Excellent analytical and mathematical skills for cost calculations and takeoffs.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical

field experience as an electrician or in electrical construction.Work EnvironmentThis role is primarily office-based, located in Chandler, with occasional visits to construction sites for project evaluations.
