Our client is on the hunt for a Tax Director who’s ready to drive strategic value across a dynamic and expanding energy storage and solar portfolio. About the Role : Reporting directly to the VP of Accounting and working along side with the CFO. The Tax Director will own the tax function, from strategy and compliance to risk management and planning, across a growing portfolio of renewable energy assets. Responsibilities : Oversee planning and reporting for income tax, sales & use, property, and tax partnerships . Navigate complex regulatory changes, including Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) incentives for solar and storage projects. Partner with internal teams and external counsel to optimize tax equity deals and other monetization structures. Lead and evolve the company’s tax strategy across federal, state, and local levels. Requirements : 5+ years of experience with reading, analyzing, and advising on partnership LLC Agreements including liquidating and waterfall provisions. 3+ years with partnership capital accounts and the associated technical rules, including partnership formation, contributions, 704(b) capital accounts, etc. 3+ years in the renewable energy sector is preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Taxation. CPA is required. Location & Compensation : Atlanta, GA $180,000 – $210,000 base + 30% bonus Ready to Power the Energy Transition?
