About The Position

Job Title : Vascular Interventional Radiology Tech

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Specialty : Interventional Radiology

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day 4x10-Hour

Hours per Shift : 10 hours (06 : 30 - 17 : 00)

Experience : Minimum 1 year in Vascular Interventional Radiology

License : Valid state license required

Certifications : ARRT R, BLS

Must-Have : EVAR (Endovascular Aneurysm Repair) experience

Description :

Work in a state-of-the-art Hybrid OR Suite for advanced vascular interventions.

Shifts include 4x10s (6 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM) Monday-Friday, plus On-Call (Minimum 125 Hours / Month).

Be part of a Level I Trauma and Teaching Hospital.

Experience with Level I Trauma Center and Teaching Hospital settings is preferred.

Key skills include Interventional Radiology and Angiography.

Familiarity with vascular studies and procedures such as Stents, Angioplasty, Thrombolysis, Thrombectomy, and Dialysis Graft Interventions is essential.

Experience in Neurovascular procedures like Carotid Angiography and Embolization is needed.

Perform abdominal and pelvic procedures including Mesenteric Angiogram and Liver Biopsy.

Ability to operate PACS systems and perform Chest Tube Placement, Paracentesis, and Thoracentesis is required.

Preferred equipment experience includes GE Innova IGS and PACS Systems.

Candidates will be required to float to different units as needed.

Availability for weekday and weekend on-call is necessary.

Two professional references are required, including at least one from a leadership capacity.

No coworker references are accepted.

Candidates must complete mandatory fingerprinting promptly upon contract acceptance.
